BARC NET December 18, 2007

Thank you everyone who participated tonight in net. The topic tonight was the sunspot cycle, and how this article on Nasa's web site sseems to think we may be beginning the new cycle. I found it an interesting read, and shared it with the net tonight. I'd like to thank Kevin Reeve for showing to me on the board mailing list, as it made an interesting topic tonight.

• No ARES meeting this month, they will continue in January
• The Utah RACES VHF net will be this Thursday at 8:00PM. The 147.200+ 103.5 IRLP repeater should be linked into the net.

• Thanks to all who came to the club party. It was a great success with a plethora of prizes. Please contact me with any feedback on the location.
• Thank you to all the 2007 board members, with a special thanks to Dave N7RRZ for his years of service as a treasurer and other positions. He helped Jacob out in many ways this year including getting the ball rolling early on the fall picnic and Christmas dinner reservations.
